 SUNDAY - AUGUST 20, 2017

You are cordially invited to the dedication of the bust of Milutin Milanković at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at the Serbian Cultural Garden.  The Serbian Cultural Garden is part of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens and is located on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (1/2 mile south off I-90) in Cleveland, Ohio 44108.  Bishop Irinej and Fr. Dragoslav Kosić will officiate at the dedication.  Parking at the Serbian Garden is possible off the roadway or at the Samuel Miller Park on East Boulevard and East 88th Street (across from the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse).

Light food and refreshments will be available.

Milanković  is a world renowned Serbian scientist, author of the theory of climate changes and the most precise calendar.

The Serbian Cultural Garden serves as a lovely, peaceful retreat and a testament to the richness of our Serbian culture and history. The wonderful Kosovo Choir will enhance the celebration with several popular selections.

Some of the highlights of the Garden’s features are:  A bronze icon of St. Sava, (Patron Saint of the Serbian people), and seven busts of notable Serbian figures, which include Bishop Petar Njegosh, Mihajlo Pupin, King Peter I, Nikola Tesla, Stevan Mokranjac, Vuk Karadzi
ć and Mileva Marić.

Thank you for your support.  We hope to see you at the dedication on Sunday, August 20.

Dobro nam dosli!  Welcome all!
